Why You Should
Get Involved?

According to a survey taken by the
Leadership Institute, the average person spends about seven
minutes a week thinking about politics. We rarely get involved with
the political process other than to vote. Sixty-six percent of the
population is eligible but ultimately only about twenty-four percent
actually do vote. Typically, if we vote at all, it is a straight party
ticket – either democrat or republican. Many of us do not actually
know our chosen party’s platform. Do we ever check on voting records
after an election? We assume that our chosen officials will do what
they said, right?
There seems to be a lot of unanswered questions even if we attempt to
stay informed by listening to network or cable news. We don’t hear a
lot about the hoards of illegal aliens crossing the southern borders
yet we have troops fighting and dying thousands of miles away in a war
whose initial purposes were obviously flexible. Thousands of jobs have
been lost by the middle class, the backbone of our country. Christians
are losing their freedoms, such as the right of free speech while the
profane have open public expression. Family values, in spite of party,
are trashed in favor of whatever perverse pleasure anyone wishes to
embrace. Society’s most vulnerable, the ill and the unborn, are not
protected by our courts that are supposed to rule according to our
constitutional law. The guilty are not incarcerated provided they have
substantial cash and a sufficient fan base.
As we evaluate society’s ills we first abhor, then we tolerate, then
we embrace. It is just a question of how bad is it going to get before
we courageously take a stand. It takes courage and determination to go
against the tide and join a third party. But this is what we are
suggesting that you do. We are hoping that you, like those who
sacrificed their all for the independence of this great nation, will
sacrifice some time and some energy to help us regain the freedoms we
have lost and to prevent the loss of additional unalienable rights.
Give more than the typical seven minutes a week. We assure you – those
who are targeting our families and freedoms are spending much more
time than a mere seven minutes a week.
